This small and ancient village of the Aosta Valley since the most remote times,
thanks also to its special geographic position, was the center of the
administrative life of the Valdigne. For this reason,

Morgex, situated to 920 m height in a charming
and picturesque plain that it is opened to fan-shaped towards the distant sight
of the White Mountain. It is rich of forests, prairies and vineyards. The
Mountain is pass through the course of the Dora on that the adventurous attempt
themselves with rafting and pirogue. In this magnificent complex mountain we
find different lakes like the Lake of Liconi, the Lake d'Arpy and the Lake of
Pierre Rouge from which born the main local affluents of the Dora.
